Limited Run Games has grown and expanded over the years, having recently opened a physical retail store and been acquired by Embracer Group. Curious to learn more about the products and projects Limited Run has in the works, as well as more about the Embracer acquisition, Shacknews’ Blake Morse connected to Limited Run at PAX West.
At the show, it was noted that the Limited Run flagship was exclusive to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which is exciting not only in terms of gameplay, but also in terms of presentation and sales.
Regarding the recent opening of Limited Run’s physical store, the sheer attention to detail and love that went into making the store a cool, nostalgic experience was addressed, including the fact that when the Store gave in a 7-hour queue.
Since opening, the store has continued to do well with a steady flow of traffic, even though the store is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Other areas of focus for Limited Run at the moment include the company’s recent expansion of its trading card packs and entering the trading card business in general.
