If you can learn something from the new Halloween ends TV spot, it’s about you wanting to make sure there’s no background noise when you’re crouching in a tiny space and hiding from The Shape. The clip includes some new footage we haven’t seen before and reveals Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) lying in a secret place waiting for Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney) to just forget the whole thing. Behind her, a blind elevator cord taps rhythmically against a window, alerting Michael to the possibility that his target is nearby.
Meanwhile, Laurie can be heard offscreen talking nonsense about her longstanding feud with the insane Michael, promising her pursuer that he’s “just a man who’s about to stop breathing.” Laurie takes matters into her own hands and leaps outside her bounds, and a battle ensues between the longtime enemies. During Laurie’s speech, we also see tons of new footage, including a split-second teasing with her granddaughter Allyson (Andy Mathak), with a worried look on his face in a crowded club. Hopefully this alludes to Michael breaking it down on the floor – something that would really send shivers down our spines.
Now that fall is officially here, we’re really getting the excitement into high gear Halloween endswhich hits theaters and Peacock on October 14th. The last movie in David Gordon Green‘s trilogy will see its final downfall, a brawl between the long-suffering Laurie Strode and her sadistic stalker, Michael Myers.
Four years have passed since the events of halloween kills, who saw the city of Haddonfield, Illinois, crushed by the unyielding, knife-wielding hands of Michael. Since then, Laurie and Allyson have led a quiet life. No one has seen or heard of The Shape since that tragic evening, and Laurie is trying to move on with her life, even writing her memoir. But soon it’s on again when a local teenager (Rohan Campbell) is accused of murdering a young boy he was babysitting, sending the town into an uproar. Beneath this dark cloud of chaos and confusion, Michael will return to face Laurie in a fight where only one of them will come out alive.
Along with Curtis, Courtney and Matichak, the film will also come back Will Patton as Deputy Frank Hawkins, who starred in the previous two films Kyle Richards. Longtime fans of the franchise will know Richards as Lindsey Wallace, the little girl that Laurie Strode babysat in the 1978 original John Zimmerman Movie. After reprising her role (and her bangs) last year Halloween killsRichards, more recently known for her 12-year (and counting!) reign The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsis back in action for the final part of the Green trilogy.
