Bluesfest organizers have released the full lineup for Ottawa 2023 festival, including main stage headliners Shania Twain, Weezer, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Death Cab for Cutie, Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Charlotte Cardin, Pitbull and The Smile.
The festival will be held at LeBreton Flats Park from Thursday, July 6th to Sunday, July 9th and Wednesday, July 12th to Sunday, July 16th.
Twain, who grew up in Timmins, Ontario, will open the festival’s opening night on the main stage.
The Bluesfest show announced in October is part of the singer queen and me international tour that will stop in 49 cities across Canada, USA, UK and Ireland.
Foo Fighters, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, drew one of the largest crowds in Bluesfest history when they played the 2018 event.
The band was such a draw that organizers shut down metal detectors to hasten the influx of a sold-out crowd of more than 30,000.
Festival veteran Weezer played at the Bluesfest in 2010 and 2013.
